Or Not? |
There was a little girl at church yesterday that was just running around, playing and greeting people during mass. This minute the church ushers take her to her parents, the next minute she has found another way to get around running and playing again. I find it rather distracting when children are left lose like that.
The little girl eventually found her way to where we were sitting and wanted my children to join in the fun play. I was a bit shocked when my soon to be 4 year old daughter said, "this is church and Jesus would like you to be quiet so mummy and daddy can listen". The little girl then sat down with us for a while and joined them in making stick drawings on paper with colored pencils. But she is a restless one and after 10 minutes she was up and about.
I was kinda happy and proud of my child at her response. That means all the talking,
awww :) I agree I don't think parents should let their children run around like that
ReplyDeleteOMG, my jaw dropped at that last one :)
ReplyDeleteI had to come back to read the last line as I was confused before. Your daughter sure is one smart one, she will understand with time...lovely
ReplyDeleteAwww... wow! Kids have understanding, I tell you. Just that we tend to underrate them atimes. Kudos to you and your hubby for being wonderful parents, ma. OH, I'd love a kid with such brilliance :)
ReplyDelete- LDP
OMG! Cringing at that last line. Your daughter is such a smart one lol
ReplyDeleteouch.....pee red ke? lol.
ReplyDeleteshes adorable and smart
Children really do listen..
ReplyDeletelol @ the ‘pee red‘ line
Loooolll.
ReplyDeleteDifferent kids have different personalities, and it shows in the way they behave in public. I am sure the parents of the other kids have studied their child well and know she is restless.
Awwww. your daughter is one smart kid!
ReplyDeletelolling and wondering at the 'red pee one'. My friend's soon to be 4yr old is excited/mortified by all things blood. 'blad' 'blad'.
I hope she never discovers my red pee cause my hooha will be receiving plenty public sympathy from her.
You're obviously doing a good job, keep it up mummy.
ReplyDelete"red pee"? Kids say the darndest thing. Very smart gal.
Oh no...pee red ke? rotfl!!!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of when I embarrassed my mom when I was about 4. We were in the hospital visiting a family friend and I saw a rat scurry past. In my high pitched voice, I suddenly squealed "mommy, see the type of our rat". My mom said she wished the ground would swallow her.
Lol!
hahahahaha
DeleteROTFLMAO..That is one classic line oo. Chai.
DeleteLoL. Kids! You can never tell what they will say the next minute.
ReplyDeleteBased on both comments by your lil girl, it sounds like you are raising her well.
BTW I can't stand "parents" that aren't bothered when their kids are being distractive. They are kids but you cant let them run wild everywhere.
Good parents make good children and you are doing it right! Love your daughters response. You must be one proud mama!
ReplyDeleteSmart daughter you've got there. You are doing a great job with her.
ReplyDeleteOuch @ the last sentence. :-D
Awww.. How proud you must have felt! xx
ReplyDeleteEEya...one of those mummy-moments you had there. LOL at the last response from her. Kids will be kids anyday.
ReplyDeleteLOL I'm sure you turned "RED" right after she said that last sentence cant stop laughing here oh
