October 30 days blogging challenge

Hey guys,I hope you all are doing fine? I still can't believe this is the last day of the month. Countdown to the end of this month. Hope everyone had a good month and at least one reason to smile? September was okay, had its moments. The little ones are back in school. The novelty wore off after the first couple weeks, now all I hear is 'mommy there are too many school days', whine, whine. It  almost got me thinking about home schooling at a point * even researched it*. Bad for them though cos they have no choice but to go, at least for now.

One of my goals for the month of October it to put up more posts. I managed two post for the whole of September, I know I can do better so I choose to do better. To help me with this goal, I have decided to take on a 30days blogging challenge. There are so many different types out there, from relationship, to motherhood, to weight-loss. I was almost giving up on what to choose, I just decided to close my eyes and pick one and Voila!

I will start the challenge tomorrow.

Tomorrow, October 1st, Nigeria will celebrate 53 years of Independence. As a country, we are still experiencing growing pains. Sometimes it seems like they are growing pains in reverse * at least to me*. I wish Nigerians home and abroad a peaceful independence celebration.

September is here!!!

Happy new month!!!

I don't know why I am so happy when a new month starts on a Sunday, but I really am. I woke up this morning like I was going to change the world * or at least change my own world*.  I felt like there is still hope, another chance to do whatever it is I want to do and that is a  so comforting.

I just love new beginnings.

We had a very busy summer and I am a bit happy that it is coming to an end. It already feels like fall over here, all the beautiful sun we enjoyed is now resting behind clouds. Just a week before the kids go back to school. They can't wait. My son who has never gone to school is super excited too. I pray they continue to enjoy school.
